Habitat for Humanity of Piatt County is planning on building another Habitat home in 2025. The location of the home will depend on the desires of the family selected. It could be Bement, Monticello, Cisco or Deland. The Family Selection Committee is charged with promoting the build, recruiting families and selecting the most qualified family for the build.
We are just starting the family selection process. So, we are trying to get the word out to families that might be interested in this opportunity and feel they might be qualified.
To learn about this exciting opportunity, please attend one of the following informational meetings :
● Thursday, November 7, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. Bement Village Hall, 148 W Bodman St.
● Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. Monticello Municipal Bldg, 210 N Hamilton St
You will fill out a worksheet at the meeting to help you determine your eligibility, so please try and bring some of the following information with you:
1- total monthly income from all sources
2- all debts such as loans,
credit card balances etc
3- monthly expenses such as rent, utilities etc.
